Overview
Lisa R. Stark specializes in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions law, corporate governance and venture capital investments. Previously, Ms. Stark was with the Delaware firms Morris Nichols Arsht & Tunnell LLP and Richards, Layton & Finger P.A., where she practiced in such areas as mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, proxy contests and hostile takeovers. She also has experience advising private and public companies and their boards of directors, including committees, on corporate governance matters.
A summa cum laude graduate of Bucknell University, Ms. Stark received her juris doctor from Washington and Lee School of Law in 2000. Admitted to practice in Delaware, Ms. Stark is a member of the American Bar Association and the Delaware State Bar Association and works pro bono with Delaware’s Office of the Child Advocate.
Ms. Stark’s noteworthy achievements include the Frederic L. Kirgis, Jr. Graduation Prize from Washington and Lee for the student with the highest standing in international law. She also won the Orin J. Oliphant Graduation Prize for the highest grade point average and the President’s Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement from Bucknell, where she was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
