Habbart of The Delaware Counsel Group LLP authored an article titled 2011: A Year in Review—The Financial Crisis, Delaware and Corporate Governance, which was published in June by Who’s Who Legal, a division of Law Business Research Ltd. Law Business Research Ltd. is an independent London-based publishing group, which provides research, analysis and reports on the international legal services marketplace.
The article examines how Delaware’s judiciary, legislature and corporate bar responded to the call for greater regulation of corporate governance matters following the financial crisis of 2008. The article also examines several recent corporate governance decisions which show that the financial crisis is still having an impact on the types of corporate governance cases being brought in Delaware.
